Who Am I?

Hello this is Sam, aka supergalaxysam!I am a queer man who makes online content; I mostly stream on twitch and post artwork over on various socials. You can find my links to my social media below. I use he/they, and primarily speak English.I also have ADHD, and as a result I can become easily distracted and/or suddenly forget what I was doing. It also affects things such as my hearing, so I'll usually turn up the volume in voice calls so I can hear what others are saying. On social media, I follow a lot of accounts and share a lot of posts, because I happen to like the individual posted work and/or want to support the account. If there's someone or something I shouldn't be promoting/following, please let me know.

Content Information:

When it comes to content, I often create, share, and promote content generally meant for a 16+ audience. For streams, this means that there may be cursing, the game may contain mature and/or inappropriate content not meant for a younger audience, player comments and/or usernames displayed ingame on stream may be inappropriate, etc. Sometimes we may briefly talk about heavy topics on stream, but won't let it drag for long. I try to keep things lighthearted whenever possible. Please do not interact with my stream nor other social media platforms if you're not 16 or older. This is for comfort and safety reasons. If you're someone who wants to or already collaborates with me on my streams and/or other content, I expect you to follow stream rules and not say and/or do anything that'd warrant an explicit 18+ warning. Don't endorse negative and/or "toxic" behavior in games. Behave yourself and we'll get along fine. And of course, do not use slurs, derogatory jokes, and/or bigoted speech. This includes talk and/or mention of "Traps" and "Lolis/Shotas", etc.

Internet Persona

I do have two main internet characters--one is a persona, and the other is like a vtuber/channel mascot; My channel mascot is an alien, and my persona is a raptor. Both use he/they. Their toyhou.se profiles can be found below.I do not mind fanworks about them, as I was asked about it a couple times. All I ask is do not roleplay with them, claim them as your own, make NSFW content of them, bully people who are either inspired by or coincidentally have similar concepts, clearly trace and/or steal their designs, use them in bigoted content and your own personal views and fantasies (political, religious, sexual, etc), and also do not ship them with other people's personas and/or actual people. You may have them interact with fictional characters in appropriate interactions however, that is okay. Please no shipping with fictional characters as well as no inappropriate interactions with characters who are either minors and/or can be read as minors.

Streaming as Alien...

In Character streams (IC streams) involve acting out the role of an alien whose been stuck on this earth for many years. He's someone who can never return home, and thus had decided to intermingle with humans on and off, with his most recent interactions involving the decision to stream. He's a character with his own personality, lore, quirks, and interactions. Currently I am not doing any streams as him, sorry.

Streaming as Myself...

I stream as myself during these streams like many other streamers commonly do with their own. These streams will often be more calm and down to earth in comparison to Alien's, though this doesn't mean it's a more mundane stream. Both streams are meant to have different "beats" to help diversify activities done on the channel. These streams are the main ones featured on this channel.

Regarding Boundaries

Like any individual, I do have my personal boundaries; Overstepping these boundaries can result in things like being blocked, kicked off the community server, etc. My friendship and trust is something to be earned, not be guaranteed. It isn't something that can be forced onto me.Parasocial relationships where someone "projects" an imaginary friendship on me isn't a genuine friendship. Being granted special statuses like VIP or mod doesn't equate to friendships either. What I post and say online doesn't equate to you knowing everything about me, it's often just a fraction of my life. Remember healthy peer to peer mutualism is perfectly fine, there's no need to befriend everyone and I'm open to accepting you as a mutual peer.Stuff like making sexual jokes about my body, etc. isn't okay. Sexual remarks about my body, jokes or otherwise, can result in major distress for me. I will block people depending on the severity of the remark; Minors and folks YEARS older than me will be instantly blocked regardless of their comment's severity.Other notable things include being weird towards my relationships; Just because I know someone, doesn't give you the right to be "shipping" us, fetishizing our relationships, taking advantage of one of us so you can befriend the other, display rude behavior towards us, etc.My boundaries aren't limited to the aforementioned, but most of it generally boils down to "please be sensible and respectable." Use messaging systems appropriately, please don't touch me in inappropriate ways, don't stalk me nor others, etc.

You May...

  • Do voiceover work of my literary works and where dialogue is present in my artwork.

  • May make animatics or skits based on sound bytes adapted from my livestreams.

  • Create fanworks inspired by my own works.

  • Create translations of my works for other languages.

Personal Work Permissions

As someone who frequently posts my own artwork, makes my streams and videos available for viewing on youtube, has made some of my writing available to read, etc. I finally figured it's best I make my boundaries involving the usage of my works clear. Most of what is listed in the "You May" section must be done with credit listed in the post's description. You do not need to usually ask me for permission to remix or create fanworks of my work unless specified.

You May Not

  • Utilize any of my works (literary, visual, physical, auditory) for training LLMs/Generative AI nor remixing through LLMs/Generative AI.

  • Utilize my works to maliciously create bigotry or slander of myself or others.

  • Claim what I create as your own.

  • Repost my works without permission.

  • Monetize off of my work without explicit permission.

May I Ask You Questions About....?

The simple answer is yes you can. If I feel uncomfortable about answering any questions and/or the current conversation, I will turn it down and/or change topics.I'm someone who's here more to entertain people rather than educate, as I feel there's far better resources and people out there for learning about various topics than directly from myself. Asking me questions will only give you my biased answers and opinions. I'm not someone who'll be correct about everything, I will sometimes say stuff that is factually incorrect, etc. not because I wish to misguide anyone, but because it's just something that can happen because I'm an individual who makes mistakes. To add, I'm also someone who's thoughts and opinions can change, I am ultimately a human being and not a static character. I am willing to often listen to what others have to say and pay attention to constructive criticism. In regards to specifically me being queer and having ADHD, while they're parts of my identity and also affects my channel and interactions with others, it's important to remember they're not the main focus of my channel.

About Tipping, Commissions, Twitch Bits and Subscriptions, and Crypto/NFTs

Tipping me is highly appreciated! I strongly encourage tipping me over on ko-fi. I do accept people taking advantage of Twitch's bits and subscriptions, as those help boost the channel, but I'll always advise to visit my ko-fi first as most of the money made off of Twitch bits and subscriptions is barely seen by the streamer. I am also someone who does art commissions, which is another reliable way to support me as an online creator. That said, I am not someone who supports accepting payments done through cryptocurrency and its variants and I am someone against NFTs, etc. I will turn down any inquiries to create commissioned work for NFTs and will deny any payments done through crypto and similar. There's plenty of already available, reliable methods of pay that do not rely on the utilization of cryptomining that I'll happily accept.

In Response to Our Relationship with AI and other Evolving Tech

I personally recognize we currently live in a rapidly changing world, and this has effectively been demonstrated in multiple areas--socially, culturally, economically, etc. One of these recognized key subjects is our relationship with everyday technology, and the evolution and advancements made within the science involving tech.

It is important to understand technology is everywhere. Everything in your everyday life is technology, as the word "technology", and its shortened form, "tech" is meant to define objects which we utilize to improve our daily lives. However, while tech can beneficial and acts as supplementary aid and tools, the way we (generally) utilize technology determines how beneficial or abusive its use can be.

As someone passionate about technology that was once seen as merely science fiction, such as artificial intelligence, I do appreciate the field's advancements and commend the research done to make many current tools accessible. However, I do not commend the abuse of it, nor other technological fields, where its usage performs destruction on the humanities and people's livelihoods. Our technology should aid--not takeover--the work and skillsets of the everyday person.

In regards to the current hot topic surrounding artificial intelligence (AI), I do not condone nor support the utilization of generative AI. Generative AI refers to the AI technology involving the utilization of LLMs (Language Learning Models) such as, but not exclusive to, Grok and ChatGPT, where the program creates a composition of literary or visual information based off of data which it managed to successfully scrape, often times from non-consenting sources. Many of these models lack guard rails to ensure protection against violations of privacy and abuse are in place. These models also often require the support of large data centers, which, have been proven to wreck havoc on communities, human psyche, the local environment, and leave many jobless. These models have proven to be mostly beneficial to mainly investors and large shareholders of the respective companies that designed these models.
